Wearing a black suit with a matching tie and a white shirt, the 'Gangster Squad' star draped an arm around Madge as she mingled with her star-studded guests.
The mother-of-four was unveiling her new 17-minute film entitled 'SecretProjectRevolution' - which was being shown in various places around the world at the same time.
Speaking about the short film in a press release, Madonna said she was trying to "further freedom of expression and protest persecution."
She added: "My goal is to show by the example of secretprojectrevolution my creative commitment to inspire change in the world through artistic expression.
"I hope my film and other submissions to Art For Freedom will be a call-to-action and give people a place to voice their own creative expression to help fight oppression, intolerance and complacency."
In true Madonna style, she didn't just introduce the film with a simple speech, but instead took to the stage and treated guests to an impromptu performance alongside her son Rocco.
After the screening of the film, which she co-directed with photographer Stephen Klein, she performed a series of dances and sang the Elliot Smith song 'Between The Bars.'
Other famous faces who came along to show their support included actress Lindsay Lohan, Anderson Cooper and Perez Hilton.
