Gillian Anderson is drawing attention to the plight of sea life in the splashiest way possible.
The X Files actress posed nude for the Fishlove campaign -- with an eel wrapped around her shoulders -- in order to promote a petition urging the European parliament to ban certain kinds of deep-sea fishing that have decimated fish stocks and destroyed habitats.
Anderson isn't alone in the campaign, joined by other European celebrities Olivia Williams, Jeany Spark, Barbara Caprita, Melanie Bernier, Jean-Marc Barr, Goldie and others.
